It's been 3 years now that I've had to leave Corporate America. During this time I had to hunker down with my now 3 year old & husband & move to another country where not being able to move about freely & being segregated is a normal thing. My husband works long hours so the lifestyle I was accustomed to was a bit disrupted. I no longer had my live in mother/babysitter due to her staying behind. And driving was illegal for women. So, I would say I know a thing or two about hanging out with a toddler as your kid, friend, co-worker, assistant chef, exercise partner and more. In the beginning it was crazy. I mean run in a room, scream, get yourself together and come back out composed crazy. These days the clouds are clearing and I can see a little sunshine. Which is actually crazy because now I have a new 4 month old baby girl in tote. Thankfully now-a-days I do have my help back because we are temporarily back in the U.S. I'm back living with my mother & sister which is giving me much relief from time to time. But at the end of the day they are still my kids, my responsibility and what they learn, are exposed to, how much time they spend with me and others weigh heavily on me so I am very much involved with every aspect of their day & learning. And, not to mention we LOVE to have fun! So, in turn I am documenting our journey & sharing some of the past, present & future activities we love the most. Join us, follow along and share. Hopefully we can all get through this together.
